Introducing Fire Cue's Chef: Adam Dundas Taylor

Fire Cue’s Founder Adam Dundas Taylor is a world-renowned chef.

He got his big break working with Jamie Oliver on his show Jamie’s Kitchen where he had the opportunity to meet a myriad of famous chefs and other celebrities including Gordon Ramsey, Oprah Winfrey and Alice Cooper.

Since that time Adam’s career has moved from strength to strength. He has worked at Michelin star restaurants in London and Spain, was the head chef on a 43 meter super yacht, catered events attended by Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé, and cooked for Elton John’s wedding.

Barbacoa breaks records

In 2013 Adam opened Barbacoa a Mexican restaurant in Bali. Barbacoa was named ‘Bali’s Best Restaurant 2014’ Tatler Magazine’s ‘Best Indonesian restaurant 2014,’ ‘Now Magazine Best Mexican Restaurant 2014’ and ‘Bali’s Best Restaurant’ in Forbes Magazine 2015. 

After three years in Bali Adam and his wife decided to move back to his home town on the Gold Coast and this is where Fire Cue was born.

Adam Dundas-Taylor is the man behind the wheel. With over 10 solid years experience in the high end catering market throughout Australia and even more so Europe, he has a built a reputation on making customers feel at ease, finding solutions and being innovative.

Firecue is a boutique catering company with long term visions; we bring a fresh and exciting new outlook on the corporate, wedding and private catering in Australia.

Through our testimonials, we show that Dundas Taylor has been flown all around Australia to produce events at the highest level and has constantly over delivered under the most challenging circumstances.

As a caterer we have thoughtfully designed canapé and banquet menus we feel will satisfy today’s market through the current season, although custom-designing menus is something that we encourage, as we understand that each customer has different needs.

Our menus are suggested menus, for any alterations or special requests, please contact our sales team with your requests; they will pass this onto our chef who will design menus to suit your event. Please note that BBQ, buffet, breakfast menus can also be designed specifically to suit your needs.
