Introducing Fire Cue's Chef: Adam Dundas Taylor

Fire Cue’s Founder Adam Dundas Taylor is a world-renowned chef.

He got his big break working with Jamie Oliver on his show Jamie’s Kitchen where he had the opportunity to meet a myriad of famous chefs and other celebrities including Gordon Ramsey, Oprah Winfrey and Alice Cooper.

Since that time Adam’s career has moved from strength to strength. He has worked at Michelin star restaurants in London and Spain, was the head chef on a 43 meter super yacht, catered events attended by Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé, and cooked for Elton John’s wedding.

Barbacoa breaks records

In 2013 Adam opened Barbacoa a Mexican restaurant in Bali. Barbacoa was named ‘Bali’s Best Restaurant 2014’ Tatler Magazine’s ‘Best Indonesian restaurant 2014,’ ‘Now Magazine Best Mexican Restaurant 2014’ and ‘Bali’s Best Restaurant’ in Forbes Magazine 2015. 

After three years in Bali Adam and his wife decided to move back to his home town on the Gold Coast and this is where Fire Cue was born.

Fire Cue: Gold Coast Restaurant Now Open 

Featuring modern interiors and exotic menus, Fire Cue is a new restaurant now open in Broadbeach. Indulge in an exotic blend of modern Australian and Latin American flavours, including the best ribs on the Gold Coast, served alongside cocktails, premium wines and tap beers.
