Adam Dundas Taylor / Executive Chef & Owner
Adam completed his apprenticeship on the Gold Coast at A Tavola in Main Beach before qualifying and moving to Bondi Beach Sydney working at Hugo’s restaurants with Pete Evans and Manu Fiedel.
2 years later Adam moved to London to open Jamie Olivers ‘Restaurant 15’ training the original 15 students ,which were part of Jamies Kitchen TV series, then moving to Michelin Star Restaurant Nobu, rated in the top 10 best restaurants in the world at the time.
The next 10 years Adam spent were in High end catering in London with Rhubarb Food Design and his own company Red Sage Events.
Adam has worked on many high Publicised events and catered for many celebrities as Harry Potter premiers, De Beers, Andrew Llyod Weber, Gorbackov, Ruin Art, Sotherbys London, Red Bull, Parker Bowles Family, Elton Johns wedding, Roman Abrovamich, Agent provocateur – Kate Moss.
Returning to Australia Adam created Dundas Taylor Catering based out of Bondi beach. Adam has worked on events of up to 3000 corporate functions. Ranging from Banks, accounting firms, product launches, Christmas functions including KPMG, PWC, Comm Bank, Westpac, Anz, Telstra, Vodafone, Hard Rock Café, Allianz.
Adam is a firm believer of charity and for 3 years was the Ambassador for Australian school canteens working closely with Healthy Kids Organisation.
In 2013 Adam moved to Bali to open his own restaurant Barbaoca Bali Awarded Best Restaurant Bali 2014, Best Mexican restaurant 2014, rated by Tatler and Forbes magazine their top restaurant Indonesia 2015.
Adam Recently brought his young family back to the gold coast to open Fire Cue, Nobby’s Beach.
